As some of you may know, the line-up of the band saw various changes throughout it's first few years, no more so than during the first half of 2017. With a gig lined up at the Prince Albert on Lewis' birthday, the band had been reduced to a duo by June, and did consider cancelling. Luckily, our friends Jim and Chris agreed to step into the void, and they were joined by our original bassist Matt. The band had less than a month to get ready for the gig, and only managed to have one full practice session together.

The gig was a success, but it had already been agreed that it would be a one off. The band's next live show took place nearly 8 months later, with a totally different line-up. As a result, this recording represents a unique night in the history of The Decadent Dayze. The songs never sounded this this before, and it's likely that they'll ever sound like this again.

We were lucky that Simon recorded the gig for posterity. Unfortunately he placed his recorded near the sound desk, and you may therefore be able to hear the sound guy having his dinner in places :)
